Bambu Lab P1S embodies Bambu Lab's commitment to innovation, quality, and user experience. The P1S strikes a balance between the P1P and X1C models. Like the X1 Carbon, it features an enclosed chassis and active chamber temperature control, but to reduce costs, it lacks certain features of the X1 Carbon, such as a touchscreen and Lidar print inspection. Its intuitive user experience is ideal for beginners, while its advanced features cater to the needs of more experienced users. The Bambu Lab P1S offers excellent value for money. Its competitive price, combined with reliable performance, well-designed features and multi-color printing thanks to AMS, makes it an attractive option for 3D printing enthusiasts.

Specifications
The printing technology used is Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), and the build volume is 256 × 256 × 256 mm³. The chassis of the machine is made of steel, and the shell is a combination of plastic and glass.
Toolhead
The hot end of the toolhead is an all-metal design, and the extruder gears are made from steel. The nozzle is crafted from stainless steel, and the maximum hot end temperature can reach up to 300°C. The standard nozzle diameter is 0.4 mm, with optional sizes available at 0.2 mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.8 mm. Additionally, the printer is equipped with a filament cutter, and it supports filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm.
Build Plate
The included build plate is a Bambu Dual-Sided Textured PEI Plate, while optional build plates include the Bambu Cool Plate, Bambu Engineering Plate, and Bambu High-Temperature Plate. The maximum temperature for the build plate is 100°C.
Speed
The maximum speed of the toolhead is 500 mm/s, with a maximum acceleration of 20 m/s². The maximum hot end flow is 32 mm³/s when printing with ABS material (model: 150 × 150 mm single wall; material: Bambu ABS; temperature: 280°C).
Cooling & Filtration
Cooling and filtration are managed by closed-loop control systems for several components: the part cooling fan, hot end fan, control board fan, chamber temperature regulator fan, and auxiliary part cooling fan. The system is also equipped with an activated carbon filter for air filtration.
Supported Filament
The ideal filaments for this printer are PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA, PVA, and PET. It can also handle PA and PC filaments, though carbon or glass fiber-reinforced polymers are not recommended.
Sensors
The printer is equipped with a chamber monitoring camera with a low rate of 1280 × 720 resolution and 0.5 fps. It supports timelapse photography and has a filament run-out sensor, filament odometry, and power loss recovery. The AMS (Automatic Material System) is available as an optional feature.
Physical Dimensions
The printer’s physical dimensions are 389 × 389 × 458 mm³, and it weighs 12.95 kg.
Electrical Parameters
The printer supports an input voltage range of 100 - 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, with a maximum power consumption of 1000 W at 220 V and 350 W at 110 V. It provides USB output power of 5 V / 1.5 A.
Electronics
The printer features a 2.7-inch display with a 192 × 64 resolution screen. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Bambu-Bus. The storage is a micro SD card, and the control interface supports buttons, an app, and PC application. The motion controller is powered by a dual-core Cortex M4 processor.
Software
The recommended slicer software is Bambu Studio. The printer also supports third-party slicers like Superslicer, Prusaslicer, and Cura, though certain advanced features may not be fully supported.
Slicer Supported OS
The slicer software is compatible with both MacOS and Windows operating systems.
