Bambu Lab PC (Polycarbonate) Filament – For Demanding Technical Applications
Bambu Lab PC filament is a high-performance material designed for advanced 3D printing projects where mechanical strength, stiffness, and heat resistance are essential. Thanks to its exceptional impact resistance, it is ideal for engineering parts, automotive components, brackets, electronic housings, and other functional prints that require durability and precision under load and temperature stress.
🔧 Key Features:
- Excellent mechanical durability: Highly resistant to impact and deformation – ideal for robust and functional prototypes.
- High stiffness: With a Young’s modulus of 2.0–2.4 GPa, it is significantly stiffer than Nylon (PA), allowing for stable and precise prints.
- Thermal stability: Withstands temperatures up to 117 °C, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
- Fast printability: Capable of high-speed printing up to 300 mm/s, enabling efficient production without compromising quality.
- Transparency: Certain versions of PC filament can be printed with a transparent finish.
- Smart AMS integration: Equipped with a built-in RFID chip for automatic material recognition and optimal printing settings with Bambu Lab systems.
📌 Recommended Print Settings:
- Nozzle temperature: 250–270 °C
- Heated bed temperature: 90–110 °C (adhesive recommended)
- Print speed: up to 300 mm/s
- Drying before use: 8 hours at 80 °C (due to moisture sensitivity)
- Enclosed printer recommended: Prevents warping and ensures stable printing conditions.
🔺 Note: Not compatible with AMS lite system.
