Cloud services connect the locally installed SOLIDWORKS software with the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform, unlocking new opportunities for collaboration, 3D content sharing, markup, data storage, revision management, and design review.

SOLIDWORKS Premium with Cloud Services includes everything offered in SOLIDWORKS Professional, plus additional advanced capabilities for simulation, design validation, reverse engineering, and the routing of complex piping and cabling systems:

• Time-based Motion Analysis: SOLIDWORKS Motion allows you to evaluate how your product will behave and move throughout its full operational cycle. Motion analysis helps visualize product movement as it would occur in the real world, and enables you to measure forces and loads applied to your design.

• Linear Stress Analysis: Linear static simulation lets designers and engineers quickly and efficiently assess product strength, performance, and safety during the design phase. This reduces the need for costly prototypes, eliminates rework, and saves both time and development costs.

• Advanced Surface Flattening: Products such as leather goods, sports equipment, footwear, and composite materials (e.g., carbon fiber or fiberglass) often feature complex shapes but are manufactured from flat materials like hides, nylon, fabric, or sheet composites.
